To make Portofino bomboniera favors, snip off a length of two-ply ribbon with ten peaks. Place one almond inside the pocketed ribbon, at every other peak. Grabbing hold of the ends of two tension strings sewn into the lip, pull the material gently away from the strings at one end. Repeat on the other side. Tie a secure knot and hot glue the fabric seams if necessary. Decorate!
